June 28th - July 2nd:
INDIGENOUS DELEGATION
FROM ECUADOR TO THE GULF COAST

Indigenous and community leaders from the Ecuadorean Amazon devastated by Chevron's oil contamination are in the U.S. Gulf Coast region to tour the Gulf spill area, visit with Native American tribes affected by BP's tragic Gulf spill, and exchange ideas on how to cope with the immediate and long-term environmental, health, economic, and cultural impacts of terrible oil disasters.

Read the just-released report by the Assembly of Communities Affected by Chevron/Texaco in Ecuador, in conjunction with Amazon Watch and Rainforest Action Network:

THE LASTING STAIN OF OIL:

The report details some of the hidden impacts of oil contamination, as well as survival and recovery strategies for affected communities.
